Sofía Moreno grew up in Puerto Banús. She spent years away, building her career in Madrid — but Puerto Banús never really let go, and eventually she came back to it, for good.
Her mother has run a shoe shop here for years, the kind of small business that's watched the marina change decade by decade — the yachts get bigger, the boutiques come and go, but the light on the water in the evening stays exactly the same. Sofía grew up in that rhythm. She knows which streets are loud in August and quiet in November. She knows this isn't just a postcode — it's home.

Meet Sofía Moreno
Founder, Buy Property Puerto Banús
Sofía Moreno was born and raised in Puerto Banús. She went to school at Aloha College, just up the road — the kind of place where half your classmates end up staying in the area and the other half end up coming back to it eventually. Sofía was one of the ones who came back.
But not before taking the long way round. After school, she moved to Madrid to study, and stayed on to build her career there, working for several years as a real estate agent in one of Spain's most competitive property markets. It's where she learned the trade properly — negotiation, contracts, reading a market that moves fast and doesn't wait for anyone.
Madrid taught her the business. Puerto Banús is where she wanted to practise it.
A few years ago, she moved back home. Her mother still runs the same shoe shop in Puerto Banús she's run for years — one of those small, familiar businesses that's watched the marina evolve at close range, season after season. Sofía grew up around that: the rhythm of the place, the regulars, the way everyone genuinely knows everyone. It's a perspective you can't fake and can't really learn from the outside.
Now in her mid-thirties, Sofía brings both sides together — the sharp, professional edge of Madrid's real estate world, and a native's understanding of Puerto Banús that goes back to childhood. She doesn't sell the area to clients as a concept. She grew up in it.
Today she works exclusively with buyers looking in Puerto Banús — nowhere else, on purpose. It's a small, specific patch of coastline, and she'd rather know it completely than know a bigger area only halfway.
